North Dakota offers abundant opportunities for women on the trails. Eleven of the 13 routes and variations have no posted women’s times (84.6%). In 2022, no women set FKTs in this state. Of the all time FKTs set in North Dakota, just under 11% have been by women.
If you want to set an FKT on a route that does not have a posted women’s FKT, you should search for known times on Strava and Google.
We also see potential in this state for creating new routes. Our featured photo is from Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which does not have any routes as of yet.(For more on how to create a new route, check out our Zoom session. Let’s get after it, ladies!
