New Hampshire has a strong women’s FKT community, and this is evident in the percentage of routes with posted women’s times. Of the 132 posted routes and variations, only 60 don’t have a women’s time claimed yet (45.5%). The shorter routes may have Strava records, so be sure to check these before submitting a new time.
In 2022, there were 68 FKTs accepted in New Hampshire. Of these 68, 29 were by women (42.7%), 4 were by non-binary individuals (5.9%), 4 by mixed gender teams (5.9%) and 31 by men (45.6%).
If you want to set an FKT on a route that does not have a posted women’s FKT, you should search for known times on Strava and Google.
The Gnarly Trail Runners also hosts a list of FKTs without female and non-binary times exclusively. They are an excellent resource if you are an adventure athlete in that area.
