Idaho is covered with trails; over 6,000 miles of them, in fact. But the FKT scene is relatively new, and only 32 routes and variations have been created in this state. Of those 33, 22 don’t have women’s times (66.7%).
2022 was a banner year for women setting FKTs in Idaho. Of the 14 FKTs set there, 8 were by women, a solid 57.1% of the total. We’re excited to see what the women do in Idaho in the future, and we hope to see them develop new routes to inspire us.
If you want to set an FKT on a route that does not have a posted women’s FKT, you should search for known times on Strava and Google.
