FKT Routes in New Mexico

The “Land of Enchantment” offers many opportunities for women on the trail who want to chase FKTs. New Mexico has 33 posted routes and varations, and only 20 of these have posted women’s times (39.4%). In 2022, there were 16 new FKTs – three by women (18.8%), one by a mixed team (6.3%) and 12 by men (75%). In 2023 so far, only one men’s FKT has been set. Start your planning!

If you want to set an FKT on a route that does not have a posted women’s FKT, you should search for known times on Strava and Google.
